Oil and Grit Interceptor System

HCP’s Oil & Grit Interceptor System is a precast concrete system designed to remove hydrocarbons and sediment from stormwater runoff before it enters the drainage network. It slows flow to allow grit to settle and oil to rise, using internal baffles to trap contaminants.

Ideal for service stations, car parks, and industrial sites, the system is durable, easy to maintain, and available in a range of sizes to suit project requirements.

Retention & Detention Tanks

HCP offers two versatile retention tank options: the Rubber Ring Joint (RRJ) System and the Manhole (MH) System, designed to suit a variety of site conditions and performance requirements.

Rubber Ring Joint (RRJ) System

The RRJ system utilises reinforced concrete pipes sealed with rubber ring joints to achieve watertight, flexible connections.

An RRJ retention tank is typically assembled with:

- A spigot-end pipe fitted with an integral plug,
- Standard intermediate pipes,
- A collar-end pipe incorporating a factory-cast plug.

This system provides a high-integrity seal, ensuring durability and watertightness. One or more pipe sections are pre-fitted with access manholes to allow easy inspection and maintenance access.

RRJ tanks are particularly suited for locations that can accommodate a long, narrow footprint, making them a practical choice for linear installations.

Manhole (MH) System

The MH system is constructed from flanged base manhole risers paired with a precast concrete lid.

The MH system provides a compact, flexible solution ideal for sites requiring a more vertical storage configuration.

Rain Garden

HCP Rain Gardens are engineered systems that treat stormwater runoff by filtering it through vegetation and specially designed soil media. As water passes through, contaminants such as sediment, heavy metals, and nutrients are captured and treated naturally.

Perfect for urban developments, subdivisions, and roadside applications, HCP’s precast rain garden components simplify installation while supporting council compliance and environmental goals.
